This is one of the reasons I love facebook and can’t quite give it up because I come across amazing things like this from the various pages I follow. This is the amazing work by Carol Rossetti, so simple yet so powerful! I wanted to share on the blog because I felt it so fitting and something a lot of woman will relate to. Also the illustrations are just too KICK ASS not to share.

Yes, Yes, Yes! This is pure WIN!!! I hope one day we see these posters in commercials and billboards. Enough with stereotyping, discriminating, double standards. No matter how we are, what we do or what we look like, as long as we are happy and being true to ourselves then screw it! We are beautifully unique and we should always celebrate it ❤
Absolutely love these!! Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Dani
These are truly beautiful. As one illustrator to another I say “I LOVE YOUR WORK CAROL ROSETTI.” And as one woman to another I say “I LOVE YOUR WORK.” Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful wonderful illustrations.

It’s summer, so wear what’s cool and comfortable. If snobs object, let them look the other way. And if you can’t steer your wheelchair through the sand, bring a toboggan and an Alaskan Husky.

Refreshing depictions of women, although the children’s book like text is off-putting to me. Anyone else?

Wow, really powerful images. It really made me think about how many women, myself included, worry about the opinions of others. As a mother of a young girl it pains me to think of her feeling unhappy because she feels the need to please others, or holding back from pursuing her dreams to fit into social conventions. Thank you Carol for sharing! Your artwork, and inspirational words are beautiful.
Beautiful, we as women, and need to be a little bit kinder to ourselves…and each other.
Great post! I too feature strong women on my blog @ http://www.donttelldad.wordpress.com check it out 🙂

I agree with you entirely , I hate Facebook for all the trouble it causes and it’s superficiality but I’ve tried temporarily closing my account and opening accounts for other social media sites & have thought the sites don’t go near deep enough so have re – opened my account but don’t add anything to my profile and don’t comment on anything anyone else posts so I don’t get involved . I’m just using it to follow things I’m interested in.

These pictures should be posted more in the media. They’re all so encouraging. No woman should have to limit herself in order to fit the expectations of others. The artwork is simple and elegant enough to prove a perfect point.
