Support for Project Naked

We’ve had some great feedback about the project and we’d thought we’d share some of the lovely comments 🙂

“I absolutely love the idea of Project Naked as it touches on a subject i think most people believe in but not many are brave enough to discuss as openly.
The body, whether female or male, is just flesh. I don’t understand why people get so disgusted by it to the point where it is considered a popular view to hate the way you look. Everyone, both female and male, are brought up to think that they ought to look a certain way which is seriously strange.
I often think about what the reason for various things are and the one reason that keeps popping into my mind is greed. Greed for money. If people didn’t want to make as much money as they do then there would be no need to invent products to dupe people into thinking that they would look more attractive if they put 50 different types of cream onto them every single night for example. If there was no need to sell sell sell then these sort of magazines would not exist to the extent in which they do today.
My only hope is that sites like Project Naked and The urban Nudist help to make people believe that they can think differently about the human body. I wish you all the luck with the site and i hope that it grows and grows so many beautiful women sit down and acknowledge that they don’t need to spend their whole lives aiming to be beautiful when they already are.”

“Although I would fail the medical for Project Naked, I’d like to express my wholehearted support for you and your efforts.
It can be hard for a man to support pro-body-image projects without being accused of drooling over the participants. But I hope your work is seen where it might be needed, and will be tactfully circulating it to people who I think could use the support.
Keep up the good work! You are helping people who you will never meet, just by existing.”

“This a wonderful blog that deals with real women’s concerns and issues. Very nice to hear how others have dealt with and are dealing with these things. Keep up the wonderful work. ”

“Just wanna drop some appreciation to add to the mountain. Project Naked is beautiful X”

” I feel blessed for sharing my experience and reading about so many wonderful women in one place. Keep it up ladies. :)”

“Hey ladies, had a look at the posts and it is an absolutely brilliant idea – so many women (myself included) place so much unneeded pressure and negativity on themselves when comparing themselves to those they perceive to be more beautiful than them. This kind of thing is the remedy for that, real women speaking honestly. Well Done”

“Yesterday, I found your website, and I decided to write this e-mail to thank you for everything you wrote and support. Unfortunately, “body image” is a big issue in our society these days, and it seems to affect every one of us, in a direct or indirect way. So, testimonials like yours are very important to show that this isn’t a lost battle, we can do something.
As a man, I don’t share many of your concerns, but I had/have my share of insecurities too – specially when I was a teen. I considered myself completely unattractive and disliked many parts of my body.
This started to change a few years ago, when I heard about naturism, and I decided to read more about it. And, slowly, I decided that I couldn’t be ashamed of my body any more. Getting naked was the way I found to face directly my own fears. And today I can say that it improved not only the way I relate to other people, but specially the way I relate to myself.”
